Principal investigators from 16 centres attended the meeting and briefed the progress made in recruiting the patients, exome analysis or genome sequencing and awareness programmes. PIs working on the functional analysis presented the progress made to characterize mutations using cell lines or model organisms such as mice, drosophila or zebrafish.
